Flying your yacht club burgee or your private signal from the top of the mast without the flag snarling itself has always been a problem. Our rigging shop has the answer! In choosing the length, keep in mind that only about 50% of the staff is above the masthead; the rest is below for counterbalance to keep it flying in a vertical position. Then, take into consideration having the burgee clear such masthead items as a Windex or wind instrument vanes & cups. Don't forget to add the appropriately sized swivel to your order.

Simply hitch the flag halyard wherever you decide is best for the uphaul and there is a shackle at the bottom for your flag halyard downhaul. There is no set method for attaching the flag halyard to the pigstick; it's basically a matter of your judgement and seamanship as it applies in your particular case 

Located at the mid point and at the bottom of the pigstick are our custom rubber collars to protect your mast.
