We offer 3 styles of Bosn's chairs.
1) For those who need to get absolutely as high as possible, we have the Spinlock Harness. It gets you the highest of all types with the pick point at your waist allowing you access to the mastehead hardware. It is therefore the least stable and you must keep yourself upright
2) For the average person, we offer the deluxe padded hardbottom Bos'n Chair.
The attachment point is the highest up on the user's chest making it the most stable & most comfortable. The high up attachment point also means that the halyard reaches the sheave sooner and the rider can not reach as high.
3) The HR&R chair was developed by our Head Rigger, Tom Anderson, to merge the best aspects of the other two styles and allow him to get to top of the mast hardware, yet stay aloft comfortably for extended work.
