Rode
The recommended Galerider deployment rode is
a double braided nylon line. The minimum recommended length is 350
feet, and more may be useful under some circumstances. The object
is to place the Galerider in the second sea following your
vessel and to have enough, but not to much, stretch in the tow line.
Through Hathaway's store, we are able to offer the following nylon
double braid deployment rodes complete with heavy duty stainless
steel thimble, spliced and lock stitched in with a heavy duty stainless
shackle. Choose the size that will best serve as your emergency
storm rode.

Bridling
Line
To
complement the deployment rode, we offer a spliced bridling line
in two matching diameters. This bridling line is used to form one
leg of the bridle with the matching diameter deployment rode being
the other leg. Complete deployment instructions come with your Galerider.

Chafe
protection for the bridle and deployment rode is available in
18 " heavy polyester slip-on tubes at $19.95
per pair, or 16 " removable tubes with velcro
closure at $37.74 per

Nylon
Rode Bag
A
breathable , Mesh, duffel-style bag is available to store your
rode, bridling line, and chafe gear. This bag accommodates either
diameter rode, and was chosen for its ability to allow the contents
to drain and dry out. This available for a low price of $59.99.
